  • Account information: When you register or manage a firm profile, we collect your name, email address, firm relationship, login information handled through our authentication provider, and profile edits you submit.
  • Inquiry information: If you contact a firm through Justenda, we collect the information you provide in the inquiry form so we can send the inquiry to the relevant firm and protect the service from spam or abuse.
  • Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our website, including pages visited, search queries, and referral sources.
  • Cookies and tracking: We use cookies and similar technologies to analyze website traffic and improve your experience. See Section 5 for details.

3. Sources of firm profile information

Some firm profiles are created or completed before an authorized representative registers to manage them. We compile those profiles from public professional and business sources, which may include firm websites, official or professional directories, public registries, search results, public professional networking pages, and information provided directly by firms or their authorized representatives.

We aim to keep pre-populated profiles limited to factual, public-facing professional information. We do not use confidential firm information, client information, internal documents, or non-public matter details to create directory profiles.

4. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Justenda directory
  • Display firm profiles to users searching for professional services
  • Allow authorized firm representatives to register, review, and edit profiles
  • Communicate with registered firms about their listings
  • Send inquiries from users to the relevant firm
  • Prevent spam, fraud, unauthorized profile changes, and abuse of the service
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our platform
  • Comply with legal obligations

Where privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the basis that fits the context. This may include consent, contract necessity, compliance with law, or our legitimate interest in operating a factual professional services directory, protecting the platform, and helping users find relevant firms.

5. Firm profile control, correction, and opt-out

Firms can register to manage their profile and edit public profile information through the Justenda dashboard. Registration is not required to raise an accuracy, privacy, or removal request.

If you are an authorized representative of a firm, you may ask us to correct, hide, or remove firm profile information by contacting us at hello@justenda.com. We may ask for reasonable verification before making changes so that unauthorized third parties cannot alter or remove a firm's profile.

6. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information or firm profile data. Public firm profile information is displayed on the directory as part of the service. We may share information with service providers who help us operate Justenda, including hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, storage, spam prevention, and security providers. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website. These services may place cookies on your browser. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. We retain inquiry information only for as long as needed to deliver the inquiry, protect the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

We retain public firm profile information while the profile remains listed or as needed for directory operations. If a firm opts out, we will hide or remove the public profile information and delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed. We may retain limited administrative records where necessary to document the opt-out, prevent unauthorized changes, avoid re-importing the same profile, comply with law, or protect legal rights.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, restrict certain processing, or ask how we obtained personal data that was not collected directly from you.
